WP5 – Virtual world testing methods

Aim of the work package is the design and development of virtual testing environment as integrated part of the overall certification method. A simulation framework capable of the virtual validation of different use-cases resp. ADAS/AD functions shall be developed. The framework will be used to virtually test key scenarios defined in WP2.

The WP has four tasks:

• Task 5.1: Virtual Testing methods
• Task 5.2: Design of a virtual environment for ADF & EPS certification
• Task 5.3: Testing and Training Datasets for virtual testing of ADFs and EPS
• Task 5.4: Simulation Validation and Update
