WP3 – Static and dynamic ground truth for real and virtual testing methods
Work package 3 will operate and extend reference sensor systems for the creation of static and dynamic ground truth data as a source of reference for ADF & EPS-testing. Therefore, existing reference sensor system, reference perception workflows and UHDmap® creation workflows will be brought in and extended to fulfil the requirements defined in T2.3. While static ground truth data will be created from mobile mapping data, dynamic ground truth data will be created from two sources: (i) a roof mounted reference sensor system and (ii) infrastructure integrated reference sensor systems. Furthermore, a novel scalable big-data management system will be developed enabling efficient merging and updating of ground-truth-data and managing complete time series from multiple data acquisition runs. Finally, ground round truth data will be provided in standardized data formats for real world testing, virtual testing and advanced sensor simulation.
The WP has five tasks:
